“Big Rick" Smith (Owner and Founder) has always enjoyed eating beef jerky. While on a Christmas vacation a few years ago he had homemade beef jerky. This got him thinking he could do it; create a recipe and make it for himself to have as a snack.
Rick began with a Black Pepper flavor and slowly added other flavors. As he created his recipes, he had his friends and family try them out. It took him 3 years to perfect his recipe and STAMPEDE JERKY was born!
STAMPEDE JERKY was born out of the kitchen of the Smith household. It’s a family business; wife Rachael assists with all aspects of the company. His son, Rick, helps with sales and preparation. Rick’s parents have even gotten involved in the process, helping with recipes and working at festivals.
The goal of STAMPEDE JERKY is to make delicious gourmet quality jerky for all to enjoy!
